The Management Information Systems Association (MISA) at Florida Atlantic University was founded by passionate business and technology students with a shared vision: to connect academic learning with real-world applications. Our objective is to provide members with hands-on experience, valuable performance optimization, and the competitive skills needed to thrive beyond graduation. As a dynamic and expanding chapter, we strive to be a leading source of technology and business insight and opportunity, both locally and globally, dedicated to empowering our future at FAU.

About MISA

Our Purpose:
The purpose of Management Information Systems Association (MISA) is to promote the information system (IS) profession and to foster interaction among professional organizations, students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Our Goal:
To provide the opportunity for businesses to connect with knowledgeable and enthusiastic students who are interested in IT. MISA strives to assist our members with their ability to fulfill companies' needs within the information systems job market.
MISA provides members with opportunities by:
Meeting with companies to equip our members with knowledge and skills that prepare them for jobs in the Information Systems field.
Organizing events with organizations and business professionals to provide networking opportunities for our members.
Facilitating interactions that share knowledge between faculty, alumni, and students via study groups, meetings, and brainstorming sessions.

Do I need to be a business technology major?
No, we accept all students interested in gaining professional business experience and skills, regardless of their major.
How often does the association meet?
Meetings are held biweekly on campus. In addition to these meetings, we host workshops, networking events, and guest speaker sessions throughout the semester.
How do I join?
